Pick and Pack services from Fresh Warehousing & Fulfillment use the latest Warehouse Management System, and are handled according to our ISO 9001-2000 procedures. The pick and pack process begins with a computer generated pick ticket which provides the instructions to the warehouse that include the items to be picked, staged and shipped including any special handling, labeling or other customer specific requirements. The pick ticket is generated directly through the state-of-the art Warehouse Management System which is often linked online directly to our customer’s sales ordering system. The next step of packing is completed in the fulfillment staging area of our St. Louis professional warehouse where packing materials, labels, insertions as specified by our customer is used to send the package via our low cost LTL services, Truckload, UPS, FedEx, or DHL Worldwide. Our total warehousing offering from our strategically located Midwest location makes us the right choice for your professional warehousing and distribution, including our pick and pack services.
Fresh Warehousing & Fulfillment can receive truckloads, containers, or less than truckloads and then break down pallets of goods for shipment as cases or custom repacked orders. We utilize effective material handling systems to pick individual items (packs or inner packs) from cases for order fulfillment as well as redistributing full pallets to your distributors, retailers, or wholesalers.
Pick Pack Services
Our standard per-item rate includes your total fulfillment service. Here is the process Fresh Warehousing & Fulfillment will follow to complete your orders:
- Deliver your merchandise to our warehouse. Fresh Warehousing & Fulfillment will receive it, count it, prepare it for storage, and place it into our inventory system. SKU numbers (Item numbers for each item, each size) will be assigned. Please include a detailed inventory and packing list. Your online real-time inventory will be updated as soon as items are received.
- When you are ready to process and ship an order, send the request to us by email, fax, electronic file, or you may enter it on our online order form available to you 24/7 through our state of the art Warehouse Management System.
- When we receive the order and begin processing it, you will promptly receive an email confirmation.
- The items on the order will be pulled from your inventory and packed for shipment as specified in your order.
- Fresh will prepare packing slips and shipping labels. All company names and phone numbers shown on the packing list and shipping label will be yours. Each package will appear as if your company handled the shipping.
- Your real-time inventory will automatically be reduced by the items pulled from inventory that Fresh has shipped.
- Orders received by 1:00pm CST will be shipped the same day. Orders received after this time may ship the same day.
- You will receive a shipment confirmation email with a tracking number (if applicable). This will confirm that your order has been prepared, double checked, and shipped.
Fresh Warehousing & Fulfillment processes your orders upon receipt, and ship within 24 hours. Our pick and pack services are managed by our fully automated and integrated order processing & inventory control system that is designed for secure, quick, and flawless order processing. Critical client/customer/program information and reporting tools are available through a secure, password-protected “Client-only” site” through our seamless Warehouse Management System.
